PEUGEOT SPORT INSIDE

The line of high-performance electrified cars will be developed by PEUGEOT SPORT.

PEUGEOT SPORT has proven its expertise with the victories of the 908 (24 Hours of Le Mans) and 3008 DKR (Dakar) in international competitions and those of the 208 R2, 308 Racing Cup and 308 TCR in customer competitions, as well as the development of the PEUGEOT RCZ-R, 208 GTi 30th and 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT.

Two all-electric concept cars have already been developed: 208 Hybrid FE (2013), boasting the performance of a GTi with CO2 emissions of just 46 g/km, and 308 R HYbrid Concept (2015), developing a full-on 500 hp.

The 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept car builds on these achievements and offers efficient and exceptional performance.

IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

With no compromises, the exceptional performance of the new concept car combines the advantages of hybrid technology with true efficiency and the possibility of all-electric journeys of up to 50 km (WLTP).

In Sport mode, internal combustion and electric power are combined up to 190 km/h for impressive acceleration in all circumstances.

EXTRA ATHLETICISM

ALL-NEW ATHLETICISM

The design of the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept car is embellished by special body paint that changes according to the light thanks to pearlescent particles of “Selenium Grey”. The vibrancy of this colour is underscored by “Kryptonite” inserts.

The lion claws are presented in the form of oblique lines, strengthened by the LED rear lights, in alternating black and Kryptonite. The chrome has been replaced by gloss black touches and the emblematic lions and “Peugeot 508” badges are anodised, as seen on the PEUGEOT e-Legend concept car.

For enhanced sportiness, the door mirrors are finished with carbon-fibre shells.

PEUGEOT i-cockpit®: INSTINCTIVE PERFORMANCE

The PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® enhances the performance of the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept car. The compact steering wheel boosts agility while the head-up display helps drivers to fully concentrate on the road.

The new, optimum-support seats are upholstered in premium Alcantara® and leather topstitched in Kryptonite and Onyx Black. Each part of the cabin is sculpted, including the A-, B- and C-pillars, which are trimmed in Alcantara®.

The electronic impulse control gear shifter is also upholstered in Alcantara®, bringing drivers a new sensory and visual experience.

The door panels are perforated, revealing Kryptonite dimples that reduce in size. The upper part of the dashboard is also topstitched in Kryptonite.  The central console is trimmed in carbon fibre for an impression of elegant athleticism.

Meticulous attention has been paid to the last detail, with a subtle touch of Kryptonite enhancing the interior of the door handles.
